Horsepower Fantasy Racing: Picks for the Hollywood Casino 400

As the season gets closer and closer to being completed, teams and drivers are at the last leg of their rope.  They are tired, weak, and want all the weekly travel logs to end.  A coast-to-coast schedule just for the races themselves wear them down, then some go test in the middle of the week, or have appearances that are sponsor obligations.

At this point, teams are ready to call it over, but then the time comes when the helmets and firesuits go on, and it becomes time to get down to business, and everything changes.

Every driver in that moment is looking for a win, but for 12 drivers they are looking for an easy way to move into the next playoff round.  Four of those drivers will see their hopes and wishes for a title come to a conclusion, while the remaining eight get reset to do it all again.

Appropriately, the track that will set that Round of 8 is used to being around tornadoes.  More specifically, one took hold of a young girl in a blue dress and dropped her in a land where things were not exactly as they seemed.

The final race in the playoffs for round two takes us to Kansas once again, and possibly someone hoping for a trip to Oz, or in this case victory lane.

All the participants are ready, willing, and able, and hope their title opportunities don’t slip away.

Here’s their picks for Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400.  NOTE-Writers in bold are in contention for the championship:
